Rarely Asked Questions

In truth, many of these questions aren't rarely asked, but I've called this section 'Rarely Asked Questions' because I wish they were rarely asked and as a nod to an old website that helped me when I needed it.

Aren't you just confused?

This question is asked so often it's not funny. The short answer to this question is no, we're not confused. If someone asks you this question, remember that the odds are that the person asking the question is the one who's confused by your gender identity!

What loo (bathroom in America I believe) do you use?

This is a very good question. A lot better than the person asking it probably realises. In short I use the one that I can get into the fastest. However, I often ask the question in response; 'Why, if there are only cubicles in public loos, do there need to be seperate ones for men and women?'

Does Polygender Scotland provide training?

Sorry, we currently don't have the capacity to provide training courses. If you are wanting trans inclusion training I would suggest you contact The Scottish Transgender alliance.
